Credit packs are bought once and never expire. Any applicable tax is calculated at checkout, and your card or bank may apply its own conversion. There is no recurring billing mandate behind any purchase: buying a pack does not set up future charges. The optional Year Pass works the same way, a single payment for 12 months of unlimited AI scans under a fair-use limit, with no auto-renewal at the end of the year.
